The summer I got inspired
Like everyone else, Blary was growing up, exploring the world with her family, and, without realizing it, the years were passing by. She progressed through school grades, witnessing her father gradually putting aside his camera.
During the summer of her 12th year, she stumbled upon the box where her father stored his cherished camera. Blary picked it up, and out of nowhere, she started taking automatic mode photos of everything around the house—whether it was lamps, flower arrangements, or table corners.
That summer turned out to be the most revealing one for Blary. Instead of spending days at the beach with her older brother, she found herself watching YouTube tutorials on composition, camera-adjustable lighting, and more. Whenever possible, she brought the camera to family meals, where she took that special picture in black and white of her little cousin's happiness, and on car rides from the beach to their mountain home. It was during those precise moments that she began to see the beauty of things, like the sea salt floating, the orange and pink sunsets over La Cerdanya (north Catalonia), how the scent of leather in the car could be conveyed through an image…
Certainly, the summer of her 12th year was a revelation and inspiration, marking a significant shift in Blary's perspective and sparking her passion for photography.
