Blary’s London Institute experience

In September 2023, Blary took a courageous leap, leaving behind family, friends, and a true love to fulfill her dream of becoming a top-notch photographer. Her destination was the esteemed London Institute of Photography, where a comprehensive three-and-a-half-month course awaited her.

The institute's immersive curriculum covered diverse photography categories, and Blary immersed herself in the intricacies of street photography, capturing the dynamic pulse of London's urban life. Under the guidance of industry-leading professionals, she honed her skills in portrait photography, fashion photography, and still life photography, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

As she progressed through the course, Blary's dedication stood out. The institute provided her with a unique opportunity to learn from the best in the industry. Hands-on experiences allowed her to work with different studios, lights, materials, and real models, fostering a holistic understanding of the craft.

Approaching the course's culmination, Blary faced a final challenge—an assignment that would encapsulate her unique perspective and photographic prowess. This task required her to create a distinctive and personal portfolio, offering the world a glimpse into the essence of Blary Phylon.

Focused on street photography, fashion, and car art, Blary aimed to curate a portfolio showcasing not only technical expertise but also a creative vision. Her fairy godmother, a fashion influencer from Battersea, played a pivotal role in realizing her vision. Through mentorship and connections, she facilitated access to unique locations and opportunities that enriched Blary's portfolio and her experience.

Blary's portfolio became a visual journey through the city's vibrant streets, cultural intersections, and diverse faces. Each photograph told a story, revealing not only her technical skill but also her ability to infuse soul and emotion into her work. The cohesion of street photography, fashion shots, and car art showcased not only her technical prowess but also her ability to curate a visual story that reflected her identity as an artist.

When the final portfolio was unveiled, it resonated with a narrative that was uniquely Blary Phylon. Her street photography documented the pulse of the city, fashion shots exuded elegance, and car art added a dynamic and unexpected dimension. The final project marked a significant milestone in Blary's journey, transforming her from a budding photographer into a professional with a distinct and recognizable style.
